Karin Leitner is my dearest friend for a very long time. She found me through Secret Garden's web site but that's another story. Her album- Earthmagic features 16 original tracks composed by herself with inspiration of the blend of her classical background and traditional celtic music. I'm not saying that because she is my friend but all the tracks are brilliant. I only did the cover illustrations so I wasn't with her during the recording process but it's so obvious she worked hard for every note she played and you can feel all the love she put on it. You'll love the atmosphere of the album overall and let you flow from one track to another like floating in the wind. That's the only CD I've put to "Repeat All" on my stereo set these days. Amethystium formed in 1999 by composer/producer Oystein Ramfjord. Aim of the Amethystium is creating and discovering emotive imaginary worlds. Besides doing that so well Amethystium’s music will be your gate to these worlds. My favorite Amethystium album was Aphelion (I can suggest that album to anyone out there). But also newest album Isabliss released at June 17 2008. Unbounded and Silken Twine is my personal favorite from this great album.

Castle Music is a wonderful collaboration between several musicians. Leaded by Karin Leitner - Flute - and Danielle Perrett - Harp. Composers are David Gough and David Pushon. Also classical pieces from Génin to Bach. The album is fantastic. Performance of the musicians are mesmerizing. Atlantis Blue and Lore of the Land are my favorites. You are definately love their pure and classical sound with the inspiration of the glorious atmosphere of the Birr Castle and Eastnor Castle. I can suggest this wonderful album to any kind of music lover - this cd is a must for your collection.

Karin Leitner -Flute- and Duccio Lombardi - Harp - recorded their Duo Medici album The Gardens of the Birr Castle Demesne in 2001. Album features three traditional irish songs The Bard Of Armagh, Loch Lomond and Danny Boy. Other pieces are classics from Bach to Bizet. They played fantastically and the atmosphere of this album supported with beautiful natural background voices. It is so peaceful and rexling. I can suggest this wonderful piece of art to everyone.

David Arkenstone is my favorite New Age musician since I heard his Atlantis album. But his music is far beyond from New Age. There are lots of average New Age musicians out there - Mr.Arkenstone is not one of them. His music inspired by every dimension of his personality. Beneath The Shining Water is the latest album of DARE. Some critics metioned as "it should be harder than that". In my opinion if you are not a musician do not critic music. I am not a musician so I am just writing my opinion here - And I can tell it is the best Dare album they ever produced. Songs are very powerful, lyrics are mesmerizing. Darren Wharton really have a big heart and it is screming behind his lyrics. Kila's Luna Park is a brilliant piece of artwork. Wonderful compositions, vocals and instrumentation. Vocalist Ronan singing in Irish, his voice is blending with music and creating the characteristics of Kila. Instrumental songs are able to take you to a brilliantly colourful journey to the Irish lands. Is this Celtic rock ? In my opinion; Yes it is. Kila's music is as sharp as Narsil, as powerful as a Dragon, and as hard as wild waves of sea on the rocks. Sound is wonderful, great work overall - but I especially enjoy the songs like Glanfaidh Me, Hebden Bridge, Beilin Meala and The Hour Before The Dawn.

Solo album of Kila's voice Ronan O Snodaigh. One of the most important male voice of the Celtic/Irish music world. If you are looking for an ordinary music please stay away ! This album is most mind provoking album I've ever seen. Based on the traditional Irish mouth music. Instrumentation is great as usual but percussion is amazing. Tastes like African music at first. Second album of beautiful and inspiring Irish duo - Gloria and Liz. They are creating a dream world with their heart stirring songs for us in this Dream-Teller album. Yeats poem "I am Of Ireland" is narrated by Gabriel Byrne - this one is shivering. Also musical experience and skills of Rua are amazing. This album contains the best instrumentetion I've ever heard - you can see what I am trying to say on the first song - "Ride On". Also features some traditional arrangements like "Black Is The Color". My favorite song "Le Marais" is able to take your breath away, especially with the French version.

Rosheen is most important band in the Celtic world. Their debut "Musique Celtique" contains both traditional arrangements and beautiful songs written by them. There is nothing to say about her music - buy this album, that's it ! A hauntingly beautiful blend of contemporary and acoustic instruments weaving through her angelic voice. She is also an angel by herself. I know her personally - I catch the opportunity to interview with her for a university radio station. You can be sure that she is magical as her music ! When she entered the place we will talk, oh my Goddess I just can't belive my eyes - She is tall, beautiful - more beatiful than the photos, elegant and so noble, looks like surrounded by a glamour.
